My name is Lauren and I am The Not So Handy Woman!

I started this blog to share my adventures in homeownership with all of you! Even though owning a home has been one of the best, most rewarding things I have ever done, its not always fun and games. And I want people to see that! Sometimes its nice to know that you aren’t the only one out there struggling with a project or learning something for the first time. It is also great to be able to share success stories and accomplishments. I hope you all will enjoy reading about the many projects we have going on and learn from them with me!

So now that you know what this blog is all about, let me tell you a little about me.

I’m a Georgia girl born and raised! I’m from Augusta originally and now live in the suburbs of Atlanta. I’m still trying to get used to the big city life but I love it more and more each day! I have a wonderful husband named Matt (who you will hear me mention all the time) and I’m a mama to my puppy child, Scout. I went to college at the best university in the whole world, The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and I am a die hard Georgia football fan. When I’m not working, I love to read a good book, binge watch TV shows, and eat as much Mexican food as possible! I have always dreamed of owning my own house one day and I have always loved to decorate and plan things, from dorm rooms to apartments, and now my own home!
